Don’t miss YOUR opportunity to meet the decision makers in property management companies. Similar to Speed Dating, this Business Exchange on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, allows you to present YOUR products and services to local multifamily executives in timed, personal meetings as you network from table to table.
This year, the GCNKAA will once again be hosting this event via Zoom. As this will be a zoom event, we will be hosting several different breakout rooms for our meetings. There is also a tentative plan for an in-person event in the fall of 2021 should COVID restrictions ease and vaccinations continue to roll out.
As an associate member, you will be able to rank the top 10 companies with whom you would like to meet. GCNKAA staff will make their best effort to accommodate as many of your requests as possible. Depending on the number of companies as well as the number of registrations from our associate members, meetings will range for roughly five minutes each. This may change as we near the event date. The schedule of meetings will be based on first come first serve.
Also, as an associate member, you will be featured in the event booklet, emailed to all participants prior to the zoom event. You may send either a full color half-page ad (7.5" wide by 4.8" tall press-quality pdf) or provide a brief description of your company and the products or services you provide. This ad or paragraph(s) is due by March 1, 2021. If GCNKAA does not receive any information from your company for your listing, we will simply add your contact information.
Unsure about technology? The GCNKAA staff and the Business Exchange Committee have made drastic improvements to the virtual layout of our Business Exchange Event by working closely with our technology crew and other industry associations across the country to improve functionality and effectiveness of the Zoom platform. We have had numerous committee meetings, tested the format, and plan to have a Tips and Tricks tutorial of the event to ensure all participants are able to navigate the virtual environment without exception. You will LOVE the ease at which you get to meet with other GCNKAA members in 5 minute increments, simply by clicking on individual links on a virtual event floorplan.

Due to its popularity, returning this year, GCNKAA will be providing all associate members attending this event with a program listing the management company information. This form will be sent to you to complete after you agree to participate this year. Please email a team photo or headshots of individuals attending the Business Exchange on your behalf so that we may include them in the event program. HOW IT WORKS
During this virtual Business Exchange, you will be able to meet one-on-one with management companies during 5-minute+ intervals. This virutal setting will allow you to share your screen and send promotional material through private chat during each meeting.
March 4: Deadline to register for this event as an Associate Member to allow us to schedule meetings in advance.
March 4: Please submit either one 1/2 page ad (7.5” wide x 4.8” tall) OR a brief paragraph about your products or services, including contact information and website. This will be used in the event booklet distributed to all pre-registered attendees prior to the event. Ads should be press-quality pdf or high resolution jpg files sized correctly. Ad OR paragraph should be emailed directly to email@example.com.
March 5: All registered attendees will receive a list of the participating property owners and management companies. You will have until March 10 to rank your top 10 companies you would like to meet with. Our team will work to pair you with your top choices.*#
March 10: Submit your meeting request form to firstname.lastname@example.org listing the top ten companies with whom you would like to meet. Depending on the total number of participating companies, you may not be scheduled to meet with all your requests.
March 15: You will receive your meeting schedule, zoom link(s), and program booklet in advance of the event on March 17.
