The GCNKAA Education Department promotes industry professionalism through programs designed for all apartment personnel. Designation programs demand intensive training and cover all aspects of rental property management. Over the years, the GCNKAA has trained hundreds of individuals in the rental housing industry.

Designation programs include the Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor, Certified Apartment Supplier (CAS) and the Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians (CAMT) program.  See the appropriate drop down links for each of these designation programs.

GCNKAA also offers educational seminars throughout the year that provide information on everything from leasing and marketing to fair housing. These seminars also allow for Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for NAA Designations.   

Our instructors and speakers range from national speakers to local specialists to governmental officials.

The Education Committee is looking for new members to help in this planning effort. If you would like to volunteer for the committee or make suggestions for a topic to be covered please contact james@gcnkaa.org. Seminars range from one to two hours in length.  One hour of classroom training is equivalent to one continuing education credit (CEC).

Please note our cancellation policy: For NAAEI Credential programs, cancellations received less than 10 days prior to the start date of class will not be entitled to a refund.  For seminars, a 24 hour cancellation must be provided; otherwise, the full seminar charge will be invoiced.
