2024 brings a completely updated curriculum for today's property managers!

Earning your CAM credential allows you to demonstrate that you have the knowledge and ability to manage an apartment community and achieve the owner’s investment goals. Developed by the National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI), the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) course offers the highest standard of professional training for the on-site manager.

Recommended for community managers and experienced assistant managers.

Todd Hignite

Vice President at Hearth Home Communities 

"Todd Hignite has over 28 years of multi-family housing experience and is the Vice President of Hearth Home Communities, LLC.  His experiences include traditional market rate, luxury, military, and tax credit portfolios that also encompassed new construction, acquisitions, and re-positioning communities through renovation programs. 

Todd has earned his CAM and CAPS certifications with the NAA as well as being a member of the NAAEI faculty and serving on the NAA Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committee.  He is on the GCNKAA Board of Directors, co-chairs the Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committee and serves on several additional local association committees."

Angela Lacy

Director of Residential Property Management & Senior Commerical Property Manager

"Angie handles property management activities for Anderson's Cincinnati portfolio of Residential, Office and Retail projects. Prior to joining Anderson Real Estate, Angie had successful career experiences with Marquette Management, CMC Properties and Capital Investment Group.

As an experienced real estate professional, Angie creates and teaches Real Estate Continuing Education and Career Education/Certification classes. Angie is a tri-state native, having attended the University of Cincinnati and currently resides in the eastern suburbs of Cincinnati where she is an active volunteer in the school system and youth athletic programs."

Kirsten Cripe

“Kirsten is an experienced Community Manager at BH Management Services, has nearly a decade of experience in the multifamily property management and asset management industry. With an MBA focused on Finance and Human Resources and a Certified Apartment Manager credential from the National Apartment Association, she possesses extensive knowledge in managing complex financials, enhancing employee engagement, and overseeing luxury and student housing operations.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Kirsten is passionate about community involvement. She volunteers with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Kentucky, mentoring children in schoolwork and recreational activities. Additionally, she contributes her time to Junior Achievement of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, educating students on financial literacy. Her management philosophy, centered on inclusivity, support, and continuous learning, reflects her commitment to both her professional team and the broader community.”

Melinda Howard - Vice President of Training and Systems for PLK Communities

Melinda began her career in early 2011 as a Leasing Consultant and quickly advanced to Property Manager by 2012, managing properties in Houston, Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati. In 2016, she transitioned to the corporate office as a Director, where she oversaw business system platforms and training. Melinda has successfully led the rollout of new software platforms, policies, and procedures, while also establishing a dedicated Training Department. Under her leadership, PLK’s training team earned a prestigious spot on the Training APEX Award list from the Training Magazine Network in February 2024. Before PLK, Melinda worked at Hills Properties and Lifestyle Communities. Melinda is an active member of the ResMan, ePremium, and Zego Customer Advisory Boards, and contributes to the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Apartment Association (GCNKAA) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. She also serves as the Philanthropy Advisor for Alpha Delta Pi at Miami University, OH, guiding philanthropic efforts benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati. Melinda holds a double BA in Business Management and Business Marketing from Coastal Carolina University. She resides in Cincinnati, OH, with her beloved boxer-beagle, Ranger.
