Employee Compensation Survey
GCNKAA RELEASES 2022 EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION SURVEY RESULTS
The Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Apartment Association recently contracted with Alinti to create and tabulate an updated Employee Compensation Survey for our members.
The surveys inquired into compensation of various positions along with the number of units managed and tenure at the company.
In addition to compensation, a variety of additional benefits were surveyed to understand the breadth and depth of benefits being offered to employees by association members.
A total of 20 companies responded to the survey:
- 15 companies (1000+ units under management)
- 2 companies (200-999 units under management)
- companies (1-199 units under management).
On October 25 at the Kenwood Country Club, we hosted a Management Forum with guest speaker Lewis Waitt with Alinti presenting the results from this survey.

PREVIOUS EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION SURVEY RESULTS
J Turner Research was engaged by the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Apartment Association (GCNKAA) to conduct a survey of compensation and benefits offered to personnel in the apartment industry. The surveys were emailed to one person in each company on a list provided by the association. The surveys inquired into benefits and compensation of various positions along with the number of units managed and tenure at the company.
The larger companies were given the option to upload their responses in a spreadsheet to make it convenient and less time consuming. A total of 21 companies responded to the survey.
This report breaks down the base compensation and bonus based on the number of units managed and the tenure at their current company.
The appendix has cross tabs of all data.
